Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is a common orthopedic disease caused by multiple factors such as trauma, hormones, and alcohol. In children, due to immature skeletal development, osteonecrosis of the femoral head presents different clinical manifestations and pathophysiological processes, known as Legg‑Calvé‑Perthes disease (LCPD).
